A master woodworker in Japan, Karimoku Yosegi is famously known for his furniture design and now in luxury figurines. His famous Bearbrick is constructed with a complex parquetry process.
Yosegi selects different essences and colours of wood which he puts together by hand to form patterns throughout the figurine. In the 1000% version, this is nothing less than a work of art.
Weighing in at roughly 26kgs, it comes encased in its own custom made wooden crate.
