A relatively simple (by Kartik standards) pair of shorts made from a deadstock textile featuring Kantha embroidery—one of the oldest techniques in India which comes from the Bengal regions. The fabric is then over-dyed with a vibrant pink hue which envelopes all of the details leaving a rich textured finish.
The body and waistband feature Indian mirrorwork known as Shisa which has been practiced throughout the Indian subcontinent since the 17th century.
